Throughout the Bible, God manifests as a cloud, filling it with his Glory while guiding, protecting and speaking to His people. The cloud experience is depicted in stories of the children of Israel’s Exodus and in the baptism of Jesus.  Yet, the cloud is rarely shown as a spiritual symbol. In my new Shekinah jewelry collection, I embrace the cloud as a symbol of God’s glory. I have created unique cloud design and applied it to necklaces, earrings and bracelets. A Jewelry Collection as Unique as Your Glory Experience

While God and His Glory are unchanging, the experience of God’s Glory is unique to the individual. That’s why I no two clouds are exactly the same. The only exceptions to this are earrings and the necklace and earring sets.  This is a made to order jewelry collection, so I shape the sets and earring pairs simultaneously. Available in 14kt Gold-filled and Argentium ® Sterling Silver.

The Story Behind the Shekinah Jewelry Collection

I spend a lot of time naming a jewelry collection and the pieces within it. I scour the Internet to find names that are interesting and carry meaning reflect what I am trying to say. When I created the first cloud necklace, I really didn’t know what to call it except “In the Clouds”.  I knew there was something in those clouds, I just didn’t know what until I went to the Bible.com app and referenced “clouds”. I found the Glory of God…literally. The In the Clouds Necklace became the Shekinah Necklace and the Shekinah Collection was born. I’ve wanted a spiritual jewelry collection for a long time. When I referenced cloud and found all the mentions of cloud in the Bible, I knew there was something there. My Bible study revealed in most cases, the cloud referenced was a manifestation of the Glory of God.  God’s Glory literally filled a cloud. Don’t believe me? Read for yourself. Check out Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy in the Old Testament and Matthew, Mark, Luke, Acts, and Revelations in the New Testament. Now I’m not trying to turn this into a preaching blog. But, what I will say is that the Glory of God manifests itself in different ways to different people.  For me it’s with my family and my talents of writing, sewing, and jewelry design. This is why the Shekinah Collection features freeform clouds. They are similar but no two clouds are exactly the same. They are all formed by hand. Crosses, angels and stars are used most often in spiritual jewelry designs. Rarely do we see a spiritual collection with clouds. I’m so happy to offer the Shekinah Collection as another inspirational option.
